The feature image is the scene at sunset at Colter Bay in Grand Teton National Park. This was on the night of my birthday in 2019. This photo is unaltered. It was taken with my IPhone and there is no post-production. You are seeing exactly what we saw. I will add this photo to the bottom of the post too. Some devices can’t see the featured image and it has to do with my WordPress theme.
Weather is a peculiar thing and clouds are one of the great phenomenons in our life. I love taking nature shots and clouds are some of my favorite subjects.
This post is in response to TERRI WEBSTER SCHRANDT Sunday Stills challenge. The theme this week is Fog and Clouds. Actually almost every photo is uncut, no post production except the lightning shot. It had to be lightened a bit.

Beautiful photography! β€οΈ
Thanks John. I had so many more! Hopefully, I’ll have a reason to post them some day. I apparently take a lot of cloud photos. Who knew? LOL! π
Absolutely gloriousπ
Thanks Willow! π
Reblogged this on About the Jez of It and commented:
Gorgeous imagery, some perfecting inspiration for us writers, thank you
Thank you Raven and thank you for reblogging it. I have so much more that I didn’t realize I had taken. I’m always happy to inspire. Landscapes is this week so there might be more inspiration there. π
Mst welcome Lisa. I paint/draw landscapes so can’t wait
Really? Wow! I’d love to see one of them if you paint one of my photos. I love to paint, but I’m not very good at it. The arthritis in my hands keeps me from practicing and getting good at it. π
I post some of my art here, as well as my writes, and always credit the original source if i know it. xx
If you need other inspiration, you can search Living in the Moment on my site and find some photos from Yellowstone and Grand Tetons. π
Thank you
These are beautiful! I love the cloud reflections in water <3
Thank you Jacquie! Florida offers so much opportunity. π
Such gorgeous photography, Lisa! The fact that most are untouched is a testament to your talent and practiced eye! I love those red rocks of Sedona and the cloudy reflection.
Thanks Terri! I appreciate that. Most of my photos have to be tweaked a bit but for some reason these did not. Plus, the IPhone is so sharp that it almost always gets the lighting correct. π These photos were taken with 2 different cameras and the current phone. π
I end up cropping most of mine. My Samsung galaxy note 10+ is quite amazing, but I rely on my lumix for zoom shots!
I crop a lot too. Especially the birds because I give them their space but my lens gets super great shots without being right on top of them. π
Great set
Thank you so much! π
Wow these are some beautiful clouds & photography, please post more !
Thanks so much! π I’m working on the Sunday Stills for Landscapes. Should be some good ones there too. π
beautiful clouds! π
Thanks Wilma! π
That storm shot over the bridge is amazing! Great capture.
Thanks! I usually shoot freehand, but I had that on a tripod set at F22. Completely manual. That was taken with my old Nikon. I shoot Sony now. I still pull my heavy Nikon out once in a while though. π
These are just glorious.
Thank you Margaret. As seen through the focal point of my camera. I guess I take more than just birds. LOL! π
Love the header image! Stunning skies…
Thanks Rita! It was just a few of what I have. I didn’t realize how many cloud and reflection shots I take until this challenge. π
Gorgeous images, Lisa! I loved your lightning one and the one with the jet going straight up! Nice work, my friend!
Thanks Deborah! I had so much more, but had to stop. I had to search for the lightning photo. That was a long time ago but one of my favorites. I couldn’t find my other lightning pics. No idea where they are. π
Those storm clouds are amazing!
Thank you. π
All these photos are beautiful!
Thanks Aletta! Hoping to see if you have something this week. π
Will do one soon!
