Apalachee Bay – St. Marks Wildlife Refuge

It was bright sunny blue skies when we began, but by the time we approached our destination, storm clouds were edging closer and we had no idea how close we were to that final takeout at the Paradise Gateway Bed & Breakfast.

Leaving Idaho – Back to Yellowstone

Moving along the river with his cows, was the biggest bull elk we had seen in either Yellowstone or Grand Teton. We had seen some big bulls but this guy was a monster. If a large bull elk weighs 700 lbs, this bull would have been at least 800 lbs.

Let it Rain – Welcome to our Jungle

I was going to go home and do a rain dance. I did and today it has been raining all day!

Plenty of Water on the Yellowstone River

It was bright sunny blue skies when we began, but by the time we approached our destination, storm clouds were edging closer and we had no idea how close we were to that final takeout at the Paradise Gateway Bed & Breakfast.

Seashell by the Seashore

Seashell in the surf at Little Talbot Island State Park, Jacksonville, Florida.

While there were plenty of humans visiting Little Talbot Island State Park, it was not overcrowded as the park is only allowed to be at 50% capacity.

Water Water Everywhere Tampa Bay

Intercoastal waterway in Tampa Bay.

The water was calm and a few locals were fishing.

LIVING IN THE MOMENT – YNP – OLD FAITHFUL

The colder temperatures and the high humidity in the air meant steam was easily visible from the smallest of fissures to the largest of geysers.

Living in the Moment – Day 4 – Paddling the Yellowstone River

Today we were going to paddle the untamed Yellowstone River in our Sea Eagle white water kayak.

Photo of the Day – 2.2.20 – Fog/Mist

Fog descending off the Grand Teton mountains on the back side of the range in Targhee, Idaho. It enveloped the valley between where we took this and facing this mountainside. Photo of the Day is hosted by Maria at citysonnet. The rules to play…
