Sunday Stills – Nature – East vs. West

Eastern Swallowtail Butterfly

Nature is a broad realm of the natural, physical and material things existing in our world and/or universe. It is a wide spectrum of living and non-living entities. For me, it is all about wildlife and the planet we call home. Macro Monday – Gator

American Alligator stalking some Common Moorhens.

If there is standing water anywhere in Florida, fresh, salt or brackish (mix of fresh & salt), an American alligator could be lurking. Just like any wild animal, you don’t feed them and in most cases they will not bother you.

The word “merganser” comes from Latin meaning “plunging goose”.

SQUARES – Perspective – Beach Rig

We just bought a new beach umbrella, but a few weeks ago when we headed to the beach, we improvised, MacGyver style. With an old umbrella pole and old wooden curtain rod, plus velcro straps and bungees, we rigged up our own beach oasis.
