REFLECTIVE THOUGHT
wondering along the seashore
patterns in the sand
light reflections shone silver
in the palm of my hand
tidal changes imminent
cool salty water at my feet
relaxed within thought
a slow heartbeat
a breeze flutters my hair
the heat comes to days end
sunkissed skin bronzed
setting sun around the bend
just like that...the day is done
memories are well within reach
worshipping the peace
lonely solitude of the beach

Me too! And I do but the storms and west wind have kept us away the past couple of weeks. π

I’m not that close to an ocean… but I’ve got a creek shoreline at the edge of my backyard π
