What a challenging year 2020 was in many respects. I began my year with a birding blog on January 5, 2020 called “Today is for the Birds” with great excitement because I had just written my first guest blog with Jacksonville Business Connections through my job titled “Unlock the Bird Lover in You for 2020”. Little did I know that it wouldn’t last.

I understand Halloween is celebrated with vigor in America and not so much in other countries. With that said, Halloween signifies the creepy and scary. Black cats, black birds…black everything!

Every month the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum has a Sunset/Moonrise Tour where only a few can climb the 219 step cylinder lighthouse. It is $30.00 per person and well worth going up there and having a chance to watch the sunset and the moon rise in the same night.
