Mother's Nature
Cloudy pillows of rain
nature waits to ease the pain
thirst longs to end the drought
unleash the storm, let it out.
Blue skies covered in gray
raging, promising to stay
nurture the fields of dead
adorn in green instead.
Flourish in Mother's finest hour
she holds all the power
grow beyond expected norms
burst with life after the storm.

Very nice poem. You make the darkness of the storm seem not so bad.

Oh thank you! π I’m not sure that is the case after Hurricane Laura. Thank goodness most everyone evacuated this time so there were less deaths.
