Worn Nerves
"Walk upon the steps
Grooved from years of daily wear
Can't miss my bright door"
"The blue one is mine"
"Which blue door belongs to you"
"Let your sense guide you"
Confused for entry
Eyes closed in meditation
Who has time for this?
Cat and mouse game played
Ridiculousness ensues
Knock and ye shall see
"Hello, it's me",...Bang
Look around for snide lurkers
Joke may be on me
No answer on left
The right must be the correct
Bang again with fist
No knocker in site
Fleeting may be an option
Squeak goes the door jamb
Greetings with masks doned
Eyes smiling from both of us
Humor moves forward
Nerves nearly worn thin
Greetings wash all fears away
