The Crepe Myrtle Trees are in bloom. The pink and white flowers are remarkable!
This is one of the smallest church gardens around our parts, but it is incredibly beautiful with a large impact. Just a block from our house, we are blessed to walk past it every day when walking our Bichon, Heaven. This was my father-in-law’s church and where his funeral was held over 9 years ago. It is a very special place and fills my heart with warmth. It is also our voting precinct and they did a wonderful job during the primaries with social distancing and keeping everyone safe. To maintain social distancing, they are holding church services every Sunday now in the main reception building where we vote. The chapel is very small and can pack in quite a few parishioners. In the world we live in at the moment, that is not a safe way to prevent the spread of COVID-19. I tip my hat to them for their strong leadership!
I encourage everyone to wear a mask when in public and for all Americans to get out and vote in November!

On our daily walk with Heaven, we walked passed St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church just a block from our house where they were holding church service.
