Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge – Things that are Long.

The log wasn’t long enough for the 2 of us. The gator wins today! This photo is for my buddy, Jim Borden who has made it apparent that he does not like alligators. Check out his website by clicking on the above link.

Love the pics Lisa! Can’t say I’m a fan of gators though! 😱 But it sure did make for a cute pic! 😁
Thank you Renee. 😊. Gators are part of our world in Florida.
Great photos! I like the one of the gator. We have one in the lake behind our house right now. They fascinate me.
I’m going to do a full post on them at some point. This was a little guy. 😊
We used to have a smallish gator who’d hang around our dock. When the grandkids were fishing he came a little too close for my comfort.
Yeah I’d be a little concerned with the grandkids too. My kids grew up here and all their kids were born here so they have been taught about nature and gators. 😊
Wonderful gallery for this week’s long topic. I love your first selective color with the yellow 😀
Thanks Cee. It was my favorite of the set. 😊
Excellent Okefenokee shots! I love the black and white, and especially how you made the colors pop on the Chesser Island Boardwalk sign. Thanks for sharing about this great piece of Earth, the Okefenokee! William
Thanks William. It has been one of our saving graces during the pandemic. It’s only an hour away and is really special. Still looking for the red-cockaded. We thought we saw it three times but couldn’t get the binoculars up before they flew. We also heard them a couple of times but before they go on our list for the first time, we want to be absolutely positive with the ID. 😊
Oh how I wish I were just an hour from Okefenokee! Being 5.5 hours I usually only make it once per year. But COVID allowed me to go in March and May this year. So I should have plenty of photos for http://www.okefenokee.photography until next March! God bless, William
That’s quite a ways. We’ve made several trips since April chasing that WP. We want to paddle there but my hubby broke his collarbone in March. It’s going to be a while and now with the heat, it will be a while before we get back there.
Love these pics in black and white. They look so different and so unique!
Thank you so much! I struggle with this prompt. 😊
