One of my favorite things to eat is a fresh Caprese Salad or Caprese Sandwich. This salad consisted of bright Romaine lettuce, fresh mozzarella, Campari tomatoes, fresh basil and an Italian Vinaigrette.

This bright red heart-shaped strawberry was hanging on it’s vine begging for me to pick it. I did and within a day, it was a deep dark red and tasty!

The feature image is the best veggie sandwich on the planet. Fresh Italian bread, cream cheese (instead of mayo), cucumbers, spring mix lettuce, carrots, cherry tomatoes and avocado. Add a little salt and pepper and viola! YUM YUM! We had a picnic after birding all morning at Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge in Folkston, Georgia.

This was our first time to visit the Frog Song Organic Farm in Hawthorn, Florida. They did not disappoint! We picked a little over a flat of strawberries.

This week on Bird Weekly, we explored Owls. On that post at the end, I posted a photo of these Owl cookies that I made 5 years ago for my Bunco friends when I hosted the game in December, 2015. They turned out exactly like the instructions.

This cake was made by our local groceries’ bakery, Publix. I have had it a time or two or three or four. Publix’s motto is “Where shopping is a pleasure”. It certainly is!!!

Shweta Suresh Saturday Six Word Story Prompt (6WSP) #50 – August 29, 2020 Judge Don’t judge me for loving cheesecake! This is my homemade cheesecake with strawberry freezer jam. Fresh blueberries and strawberries top this tasty treat! I make this about every 3 months or so.
