Flying in seemed easy Headwinds caught the ship Flat rocks to land upon The controls, oops, I slipped. Spiralling fast towards the river Life flashed before my eyes The cold water blasts my skin Splat this little green guy dies. Smeared along the rock bank Martians have angels too Goodbye to all you Earthlings Fly away, bidding a long ado. Sue VincentΒ is the host of Thursday Photo Prompt. It has been a while since I've participated, but I have put it back on my calendar since I'm not working at the moment.

How interesting, haunting, beautiful. I like the combo of poetry and photo.

I am so sorry to hear that, Lisa… so many people are in a similar position. But glad to hear you are using the enforced downtime positively.
