It’s been a while since I featured a bird of the day. Here is my entry for Granny Shot It’s Bird of the Day (BOTD) challenge.
You are getting a two-fer today. In the foreground you are seeing the stealthy Great Blue Heron. In the background, you are observing the Wood Stork. Both are avid fisherman…fisherwomen…fisherbirds…well, that’s what they do for a living…they fish! 😉 This photo was taken at Lettuce Lake Park in Tampa, Florida.
I was inspired to feature the Wood Stork because of a fellow blogger, novelist & emmy award winning journalist da-AL.
