We had Flat Stanley for 2 weeks and took him on all sorts of adventures. c.2006. “Flat Stanley” is a children’s book by Jeff Brown that began as a bedtime story for his sons which recounts the adventures of Stanley Lambchop after he is squashed flat by a bulletin board while sleeping. It was originally published in 1964. In 1995, Dale Hubert, a third grade school teacher in London, Ontario, Canada began “The Flat Stanley Project” which was designed to improve reading & writing skills in elementary school students.
