Frank and I, plus Heaven are all one little kindred spirit. With the kids grown and doing their own thing, we will often just take off to somewhere for Thanksgiving.
So, here is the continuation of our “Living in the Moment” series from last September. All the “Living in the Moment” posts are at the bottom of this post if you want to catch up.
On the 4th day of our vacation, we paddled the Yellowstone River in Montana. At one point, we had a problem with water coming into the boat. We pulled over along the river rocks, unloaded and fixed the scupper.
Today’s post takes us back to our vacation from September, 2019 when we explored Grand Teton National Park. Sometimes you have to improvise to have a bench to sit on. Cee’s Black & White Photo Challenge – Benches
Moving along the river with his cows, was the biggest bull elk we had seen in either Yellowstone or Grand Teton. We had seen some big bulls but this guy was a monster. If a large bull elk weighs 700 lbs, this bull would have been at least 800 lbs.
As we drove up the mountain, we watched the temperature in the van dip lower and lower the higher we went. At this point we wondered when the rain would turn to snow.
The house has large vaulted ceilings in the family room and lots of tall windows that let in abundant light and picturesque views of the mountains and valley.
Today’s square is looking at the top of the Black Raven Pirate Ship in the historic district of St. Augustine, Florida.
