Official White House Photo by Chuck Kennedy
One of my favorite quotes is by Michelle Obama, former First Lady of the United States. She is an inspiration and one of the finest first ladies to ever reside in the White House. Her speeches and appearances inspired women’s rights, equality for all and the positive contribution to all American citizens.
No country can ever truly flourish if it stifles the potential of its women and deprives itself of the contributions of half its citizens.

I miss her being the First Lady, but I really like Jill Biden as well…

I love Jill Biden. She is going to be a fantastic First Lady and right up there with Michelle and others. I miss the Obamas period but the Bidens have the same ethics and I couldn’t be happier. 🙂

I echo your sentiments. I’m curious if you feel outnumbered in Florida with such thoughts…

I don’t care what others think. Several of my neighbors supported Trump but it didn’t stop me from putting out my Biden-Harris sign during the election. Sometimes I’m a little pushy with my views and try to at least open the minds a bit. 😊

I need to be more like that… 🙂

I would probably care if I was in a political position or maybe not. I think if I was wealthy, I’d be like Margaret Brown (aka Molly Brown) as portrayed by Kathy Bates. LOL! 🙂

I’m not sure who Molly Brown is, but I’m guessing she is someone who could care less what people thought 🙂

Yes she was wealthy but not stuffy and was down to earth. She was a philanthropist that helped the less fortunate without looking down on them and she didn’t care what any of the other aristocats thought.

sounds like a wonderful woman. Is the movie the Unsinkable Molly Brown based on her?

Yes it is. That would be her. Kathy Bates played a great part in Titanic. She was a survivor.

Hi Lisa, What a beautiful picture of a beautiful and influential woman. She left a huge void when she left the White House. I can’t imagine having to be so poised and under control 24/7 for eight years straight! It takes a special woman to be so involved and to keep her cool during it all. Thanks for joining #WQWWC, Lisa. I’ll publish your link in the March 24th post as Frank is going to host next week. 🙂 I’ll also add it to my page.

I really miss the Obamas but I feel a lot better with the Bidens in office now. Jill is going to be a fine First Lady. I couldn’t do it. I will see what I can come up with this week. 😊
