Quote – CITIZENSHIP – Week #14

Official White House Photo by Chuck Kennedy

One of my favorite quotes is by Michelle Obama, former First Lady of the United States. She is an inspiration and one of the finest first ladies to ever reside in the White House. Her speeches and appearances inspired women’s rights, equality for all and the positive contribution to all American citizens.

No country can ever truly flourish if it stifles the potential of its women and deprives itself of the contributions of half its citizens.

  1. Hi Lisa, What a beautiful picture of a beautiful and influential woman. She left a huge void when she left the White House. I can’t imagine having to be so poised and under control 24/7 for eight years straight! It takes a special woman to be so involved and to keep her cool during it all. Thanks for joining #WQWWC, Lisa. I’ll publish your link in the March 24th post as Frank is going to host next week. 🙂 I’ll also add it to my page.
