Last Photo – Jan. 2021

Not planned but reality! Birds!

House Finches and a Purple Finch eating heartily from the old wooden feeder.
House Finches

The last photo from my Sony A6300 on 1-30-2020 is from my bird feeder in the front yard. I guess I didn’t take anything on the January 31st. There were House Finches and the one on the left was a Purple Finch (not common).

Yellow-rumped Warbler eating seed from the new wood feeder.

Then came the Yellow-rumped Warbler who thinks he’s the boss of the feeders. He has been chasing off the finches including the American Goldfinches and any other bird that comes along. The only birds he doesn’t intimidate are the Mourning Doves. How about that feeder? Frank made it last week and we got it up over the weekend. (This is the next to last photo)

    • Yes they do! I can’t believe it has been almost a year since I lost my job. WTH? It has been over a year since I saw my grandkids. Ugh! But, we are safe and that is all that matters. 🙂

    • Yeah, who would have thunk it? The photo from my phone wasn’t want I wanted to show. It was of my foot. I have tendonitis and just got put in a boot yesterday. My orthotics and special shoes just came in and I get fitted for them today, but won’t be able to wear my right one for at least 2-3 weeks. No hiking for me!

      • Yeah, I will get right on that! LOL! I still have product to make when orders come in. I’ve been doing until about mid-afternoon and then resting on the couch with my feet up. I’m late today, but tomorrow the birds don’t wait for anyone. LOL! 🙂
