What I’ve wanted to say in my blogs and just haven’t!

It wasn’t that long ago folks that our Republican Governor, Ron DeSantis was bragging how everything that the experts had predicted for Florida didn’t happen. We were not New York or any of the other states battered by the Corona virus.
He was all over television with the “I’m not criticizing those other states but the experts were wrong,” Yadayadayada.
When he made those speeches Florida was mostly under lockdown. After the video of thousands of young spring-breakers partying on the local beaches just about everything was shut down. And indeed…

Hi Lisa! I’m in Shady Hillls in northwest Pasco county – a semi-rural area near the Hernando Couny line. Tampa. Is about 35 miles to the south.

Its mostly the older teens and 20-somethings that are ruining things. They don’t care. They are the ones gathering in groups not social distancing.

Yep! Florida reached over 300,000 in positive cases today! Over 100 deaths in today’s report. Ugh!
