In September, almost one year ago and for my birthday, we took a paddle with our inflatable Sea Eagle kayak on String Lake in Grand Tetons National Park. To say it was one of the best birthdays ever is an understatement! This is a view taken from the boat as we floated along.
To hear only the sounds of nature and feel the movement of the water under you, makes you part of our natural world. It cleanses the soul and fills your spirit with a renewed sense of purpose. A purpose larger than anything you could possibly do at work or home while doing your daily tasks.
String Lake is a beautiful little stretch of water located between Jenny Lake and Leigh Lake. All three lakes are connected and then flow into Jackson Lake where we had planned to spend sunset.
