Tweety the Love Bird was perched up on a piece of driftwood in our garden ready for his photoshoot near the azalea.

Tweety was in full photography mode while posing upon the driftwood sculpture that Frank had built in one of the flower gardens. Tweety was so photogenic and gave us many days of pleasure photography him.

So happy to be back for squares in 2021!

He was a superstar! So photogenic. I don’t even know how many photos of this bird we have. Frank framed two of them and they hang in the hall bathroom. He was a special bird! 🙂

Well, thank you very much….I picked it out myself. LOL! Actually, I saw him first in the pet store but he imprinted on my hubby. Because of that, Frank always called him a she. Well she is was a he. LOL! Many of my followers know that Tweety was taken by a Red-shouldered Hawk right after I had given him a bath. It’s been 11 years since that happened but he shows up in my blogs from time to time. 🙂

How sad! I guess life is a balance of happy/sad.
The hawk had very good taste.
        (Pretend I didn’t say that!!)

It was sad! My behavior was “freak out” when it happened! Such as the circle of life. Hawk has to eat too but not our pet! Yes, the hawk had good taste. LOL! It was a beautiful Red-shouldered hawk too! Full breeding colors! Now we get to enjoy what Tweety gave us and I share new pics with him every so often. 🙂

Yes it was! Killed me to watch it. I was like a banshee, running in the house, screaming at the top of my lungs….”Where’s my gun?”. I’d never shoot a bird out of the sky but like I said…I freaked out!

He was beautiful. He’s been gone for 11 years now. Tragic end called a red-tailed hawk. It was a sad day! 🙂

Oh no! That is tragic! Remind me when I see you to tell you our Parakeet story. That too was tragic.

Okay I will try to remember. I’m sure it will come up though. As bad as it was, we knew that Heaven was coming to live with us and was worried about how she would react to Tweety. We didn’t get a chance to find out because it happened just before Heaven came from my ex-husband’s house. I’m sure they would have figured it out. 🙂 He was outside his cage most of the time when in the house.
