During the winter, we go through a lot of bird feed. We purchase our seed at our favorite Bird Store, Wild Birds Unlimited at Jacksonville Beach, Florida. We are annual members.

Is white a color? Crayola sure considered it a color in 1930 when the white crayon was added to a 16 count box. However, technically black and white are not colors and are considered shades.

Week #36 of Bird Weekly proved to be a difficult week showcasing hawks. One of the hardest hawks to identify is the Cooper’s Hawk vs. the Sharp-shinned Hawk.

The beginning of the song is quite dark in its delivery that “short people got no reason to live”, however if you continue to listen as it goes on, it also states “short people are the same as you and me”.
