I live in Jacksonville, FL. I am graphic designer, writer, photographer and published author. I am now taking those passions & putting them into a blog. I love birds & consider myself a “more than average” birder. I have 3 grown children & 7 grand children plus a grandchild dog named Memphis. I’m married to my soul mate and we have a dog named Heaven. We love to travel & get out somewhere most weekends.

They are blooming all over my neighborhood. I donβt have one but walking my dog allows me to get up close to other neighbors trees.

We used to have them all over when we lived in Texas. Here, in Indiana, we have a very different type of magnolia tree. It blooms in early spring for a very short period of time and then it is done until the following year. How I miss my Texas magnolias! π

Iβm from Texas so I get that. Iβm sorry you donβt have what we here. All our plants and flowers are quite awesome but the pollen is a killer, especially as it gets hot.

Thanks Cee! iPhone. I was walking my dog, didnβt have my camera. My iPhone takes better macros than any of my lenses. I donβt have a real macro lens so Iβm practicing with the phone. I want the new 11 plus but I canβt upgrade yet. π
