Bird Weekly Round-Up – Week #22

This week shore birds covered a lot of territory. Water is a necessity for all birds just like humans, however not all birds hang out near the shoreline, whether it be saltwater, freshwater or brackish. Shore birds come in all shapes, sizes and species. We had quite the variety this week.

Song Lyric Sunday – “Boondocks” by Little Big Town

I chose “Boondocks” by Little Big Town. This song is relatable to me! I was born in a small town in Texas and learned to play cards and dominos at a young age. When I stayed with my grandparents in the country on the weekends, we would get up and go to church on Sunday morning.

Bird Weekly – Photo Challenge – Shorebirds

Shorebirds can be found anywhere there is a water hole. You don’t have to live at the beach or on a lake to see shorebirds. These will include gulls, terns, plovers, sandpipers, egrets, herons and many more.

Sunday Stills – Leaves – 11.01.20

Birds fly from the front to the backyard. We have plenty of trees and great cover in the backyard with a fountain and the front yard has the feeders. This week I was able to sneak around the shrubs and get these photos.
