Week #22 challenge was Shore Birds.

This week shore birds covered a lot of territory. Water is a necessity for all birds just like humans, however not all birds hang out near the shoreline, whether it be saltwater, freshwater or brackish. Shore birds come in all shapes, sizes and species. We had quite the variety this week.

Hi Lisa, So you think the Herring and Pacific Gullss are one and the same? They MUST be related….surely 🙂

Yes they are both in the Larus Genus with a lot of other gulls. The Ring-billed gull is quite common here too and it is related. Herring Gulls hybridize so I’m sure they all got relatives somewhere that are the same. LOL! When I click on “VISIT MY BIRD WEEKLY PAGE FOR A FULL LIST OF UPCOMING CHALLENGES AND RULES!” I get an error message saying I can’t edit the page, which I obviously am not trying to do. It’s probably not you, but WP or the internet just being funky. I don’t get your posts regularly. these days, I’m not getting anything regularly. There are real problems with my ISP. Thanks for showing Lisa. I can see that you are still finding your way to compositions. Images are good as ethnographic study of landscapes. But you ll need to get around through inner crisscrosses of life.

It’s okay. No offense taken. I have a Etsy shop that has my undivided attention at the moment. Trying to get a business off the ground since losing my job due to Covid. I barely have time to write a blog every day. 😊

Thank you Narayan. I’ve got to earn a living and this was the best way to do it. I hope to be drawing a paycheck by the middle of next year. Right now, it is paying the monthly business bills. It just takes time to establish as any business does. 🙂 Thank you for looking at it and providing me with some positive feedback. I really appreciate it!
