Sunday Stills – Bodies of Water – Florida

This post is in response to TERRI WEBSTER SCHRANDT Sunday Stills challenge that is being hosted by Cathy Ryan of Picture This for the month of August – This Week is Bodies of Water.

The rainbow was taken at the Viera Wetlands in Viera, Florida last year. This 13 mile driving & walking trail has been closed since April due to the COVID-19 pandemic shut down.

Sittin’ on the dock of the bay….Well, standing on the dock located along the St. Johns River in Jacksonville, Florida. The bridge in the background and on the feature image is The Hart Bridge in downtown Jacksonville. One of many bridges here.

Pieces of the Atlantic Ocean along the shores of Little Talbot Island State Park off of Heckscher Drive (A1A) heading towards Amelia Island from Jacksonville, Florida.

People fishing from the dock of the St. Johns River at Gemini Springs Park in DeBary, Florida. This park is just outside of Sanford (near Orlando).

Frank & Me at Little Talbot Island State Park a few weeks ago. It was near high tide so we were on our way off the beach, heading towards home.

  1. Great shots of water, Lisa! I’m glad you found Sunday Stills and hope you will stick around when Hugh Roberts hosts the first two Sundays in September and when I come back on Sept 20th! I also love your seagull shot, not an easy capture!!

    • Hi Terri! I’m glad too. I will post on it, but Sundays are hard for me. I will check out Hugh’s blog for September & then back to yours. I have it on the schedule now, but may have to do my post during the week. Seagulls are the topic for my Bird Weekly this week. More to come on that. 🙂 Enjoy your time off!
