My BFF is a turtle fanatic! Every Christmas I get her something with a turtle on it. Maybe I should print some of my turtle pics for her and frame them. Thanks for the idea! 🙂

We see turtles all the time. I have lots of turtle shots over the years. Different species of turtles and tortoises.

Turtles are amazing. Now is the time of year we find them on the road. I always stop the car and move them across. They are looking for nesting spots.

Yes, they tend to be seen on the road. This same day, we had to stop the car so a snapping turtle could move on across. He stalled so I started to get out. Thank goodness he moved on with my movement. Don’t want to get close to those and try to help them out. 🙂

We have Alligator Snapping Turtles. Best left alone.

Yeah, I wouldn’t mess with those either. When I do see a turtle move in the middle a roadway, I will stop if I can and lend a hand. I have alcohol wipes in my car all the time so keeping good hygiene allows me to be helpful. No snappers though and I leave snakes go at their own pace. LOL!

Thank you! Yes it is. We wanted to go into the State Park, but it was closed when we were there back in April. We look forward to going back and staying a few days. 🙂

I keep pestering my husband to go stay in the lodge for night. He says we live too near there and he’d rather stay in his own bed. I say that’s not the point.

Thank you very much! It was in the middle of the shut down in April and it was just great to be outside where there were no people. 🙂 Maybe, he missed the people too! LOL! 🙂

Oh, it was gorgeous! We had one cool day of temps this week & went for a hike & birding on Tuesday. Got to get it when we can. Tomorrow will be back up to 90. Ugh! I got a new turtle pic & video on that little hike. I’ll share that at some point. 🙂
