FOTD – African Lily- Haiku

Agapanthus African Lily

We had to go to the bank yesterday and these African Lily flowers were in full bloom and beautiful. Don’t worry, all our transactions were done from the parking lot and we had masks on and so did the bank manager.

Agapanthus (African Lily) in full bloom at SunTrust Bank in Jacksonville, Florida. Purplish blue pedals bringing joy to those who visit.

    • Thank you Cee. Very impromptu photos with my iPhone. Didn’t bring my camera; just going to the bank. Go figure! πŸ€ͺ

    • Aren’t they great. Looks like a bluish purple ball until you get up close and personal. Then their personality really pops. πŸ’œ

  1. I had several of these in our backyard at the old house. I always called them Agapanthus.

Our bank branch has a drive through that I only started using when the lockdown started. I have to admit it’s super convenient.πŸ˜„

    • I tag agapanthus in my tags. We were opening a new account so we did it from the parking lot which made me stop and notice these flowers. I do all my other banking from the ATM or online. 😊
