    My great aunt’s parakeet outlived her. The bird was a very special companion for her in her later years.

      We wouldn’t have another pet bird, but we enjoy them coming to our feeders & we love birding. Watching their behavior is quite awesome!

        I had a little rescued bird that used to sit on my shoulder and follow me around the house – he would burrow in my hair and talk to me. Would never have them in cages either.
